Dialogue. Then voice acting.

I hated the combat too but I ran from it so often the game turned into a weird, twisted version of Mirror's Edge and that amused me.

I'd like a better main quest, but this is Bethesda and that's not likely to happen.

Everyone hated Oblivion, fans of actual RPGs hated Fallout; why should this game be good?
You might want to learn the difference between your opinion (and the opinion of those you surround yourself with), and the opinion of the majority.

OT: All of those could be improved in some way, hard to pick just one. The voice acting wasn't as much as a problem for me as the ambient dialogue was though, I must admit.

I think the "so magic to increase magic skill" system is the most flawed. Not because of the system but because there are too many things to train. You have to grind alchemy, spells and jumping/running to get better at them which isn't fun. Thankfully they have already changed that so I'm good:)

I never minded the other faults of Oblivion, but the combat was a little...sticky. Granted, swinging a claymore was slower than a dagger (which it would be) but making it a bit more fluid and natural would be nice. Though they're also fixing that so again, I'm good.

Bethesda is NOT famous for making good games, they're famous for hyping them beyond belief.
All they do is take pretty screencaps to lull dissenters into buying their crap.

You're right. Everyone must have hated it. Especially those 3 million who own it.

Jesus Christ, can people respond to people without goddam patronizing them?
540 positive.
52 mixed.
131 negative.

"Everyone hated Oblivion."

OK...?

And even then, Metacritic user reviews is a pointless source. People say scores at the end of a publication's reviews are a waste, when they're provided by users on Metacritic they literally draw cards and add a number, no matter what they've written.

If the Spear returns from Morrowind I can die happy.
removing man's first weapon from oblivion was a big mistake.
