Interesting point of view. So many girls talk about feminine garb in such a dismissive manner. I kinda understand where they're coming from, but it doesn't stop me from being attracted to that mode of dress. I've seen your unique style and it's kind of fascinating to imagine it in heels. Not to say I criticize, you dress better than most people I know. =P
I think there's at least some pressure I've noticed, especially on forums like this (but not specifically or especially this specific forum) for people to not really express an interest in 'shallow stuff' like what they wear. I couldn't give a crap about that though - I'm such a rebel. I see how I present myself and my body as an art project in constant flux. Some people paint, some people sculpt, some people write a hot riff, and that's their expression of art, which is awesome. I dress up. I express myself in what I wear because it makes me happy, not because I want to impress others (though like any artist I won't deny that impressing others doesn't make me extra happy.) and so I'm happy to accept that it's a big deal to me. So, how you've seen me is not how I always am, because that fluxes and develops, as I discover myself and change through time. Also, you will in a moment have a PM. And not the PM telling you I just quoted you... obviously. :p

Obviously it depends on the girl and it's best reserved for special occasions, but I generally prefer a girl in high heels to a girl in regular shoes. They (usually) just look better. I understand that they're uncomfortable and I sure as hell wouldn't want to wear them if I were a girl, but it's the girl's choice, let's not play them up to be victims of a sexist society (on this issue, anyway).

My only issue with them is practicality. If a girl has ice, snow, or other hazardous terrain to deal with, wearing high heels is just plain stupid.

Meh. I guess they can be at times, but I'm not generally impressed by anyone for choosing to wear really impractical shoes all the time. It's kind of like miniskirts in atumn or winter: At some point your dedication to vanity starts to show more than your legs.

high heel shoes are possibly the worst things you can wear on your feet.

my program has shown me what can happen if you wear them too much this is what you feet can look like!
-snip-

but once in a while i like to wear them.
*shudder* I'm glad I don't wear them often. I think they do look sexy and make me look taller, therefore more in proportion but they are pretty painful. Last time I wore them was probably prom night, I had them in my hands for most of the night.

High heels bring an air of sophistication to the woman. They are FAR sexier than stupid flip-flops, to me at least.

No, I actually find girls with them looking goofy.
My thoughts exactly, it just seems weird to me. But then again I practice parkour (look it up) and so I try and wear clothes that I can move around in as easily as possible. So something so counter-efficient is just weird to me

Depends on the occasion and the person and the way it fits with the look..

They are painful to, though, and that's only accidental. If they actually tried they would draw blood.

High heels are ugly in my opinion.

They make those people wearing them come off as vain.

However, most woman I've talked to wear them because they're different and fun...not as a means of attraction or attention. Assuming that's true (which I find questionable), then it's all good.

I hope not. Those things freaking hurt.
I flinch just seeing women walk by in those things.

Flats. I love flats.

Well, my girlfriend is five feet tall, I'm about six feet tall including my afro, so I should say that heels are attractive on her.

But I dunno, there's something about sho--ahem, "petite" girls that I find really hot, and I'm able to give better hugs to people that aren't so tall. And the proportions of her body would be all off if she were in heels, so I'm gonna say no.

Sorry if this makes no sense, it's almost 1, I'm dead tired.

well, they give me the impression that the women finds unnecessary levels of beauty more important than the ability to run, so no.

im an au naturale guy though; anything beyond natural beauty; make up, impractical clothes, fanciful hair, etc.; is a turn off to me. a pretty face and a moderate level of physical fitness is all i can expect, or want in terms of aesthetics.
