Neither, Good and Evil are utterly meaningless words, that hold no weight in my mind...

You realize there is no good or evil, right? Good and Evil is decided by the environment we live in. For example, here in America, killing innocents is evil, yet in Germany under Hitler, it was a good thing to do depending on the ethnicity.

(I believe)

We are all born Tabula Rasa and that our upbringing defines us. BUT
(I believe)
everyone needs to learn the appropriate times to do/voice neutral actions/opinions.
(e.g. running around with a diaper on your head/saying "You're an asshole" to an asshole.)

I think that they are born as assholes.and you can Either become "good" or "evil". or you could just stay as an asshole. as most of the population chooses to do.

i think everyone is born without personally, they develop it based on their parents (or whoever they live with) actions and opinions

so if their parents swear for example they pick it up and it becomes part of their lives.

Biologic processes, which create humans in the first place, don't operate on "good" and "evil".

So no, I doubt it.

There is no such thing as good or evil, there is only progress, animals kill each other to survive and get stronger, the week die so the strong live. That is nature, that is life.

It was our superior intellect that created morals that separate us from animals and in so doing we risk destroying our species, because we pity the week.

Good and evil are a list of rules, written by however is in charge, if a human is born alone with no one to teach it what is right or wrong by their standards, it reverts back to being an animal only intent on surviving, could you convict such a creature of killing someone any more then you would any other wild animal killing it's prey.

I'd say they are al born equal, it's the way that they are raised that changes them for good or for evil...
So basically this.
This is in line with my feelings -- but I will put one caveat -- true psychopaths, sociopaths, etc. have true physiological issues in their brain. I don't think their brain activity even looks the same as someone "normal". No amount of even-handed, loving, and caring parenting can rectify that situation.

People are never good or evil, because those are arbitrary designations.

People can do good, or do right, but that does not make them good or right.

Without any teaching towards the contrary, human beings are born greedy, lustful, and violent.
Which are instincts that helped them survive back when it was survival of the fittest.

Humans are neither born good nor evil, those are concepts invented by humanity and are subjective because there is no define guidelines for good or evil. However, the reasons certain characteristics remain in all humans, such as violence, is due to the fact that over the course of human evolution fighting for survival is all we did, soon we just had those violent tendencies just be programmed from the start so survival would be easier.

Whilst they definitely aren't born with in built morals - human beings are not blank slates. We know enough to come to the conclusion that a portion of a child's mental behavior and reaction will come through the parents.

i believe we're born naturally stupid. Good and evil are matters of free will that babies don't have the capacity to decide for themselves, so they default to self-preservation at anything else's expense, kind of like houseplants or cancer. Most people just never grow out of it due to a tortured sense of "realism."

The most evolutionary advantageous moral state is:
a) Appearing to be a good person to others and believing yourself to be good.
b) Enforcing goodness in others.
c) Being evil when it is advantageous to yourself and it does not violate a.

And, unsurprisingly, that is the moral state most people naturally fall into, and it takes either serious abuse or neglect to push someone into a different moral state.

"Evil spelled backward is "live," and we all want to live, don't we?" -Mok

We're inherently selfish creatures, parasitic, and narcissistic, all from birth. It is our nature to decide as we grow what we'll be as permitted by our circumstances, so me may choose not to act evil, but the traits we begin with can certainly be more easily distinguished as evil more so than good.

Still, in this case it is a matter of perception, and most will tell you that to look out for one's self isn't evil.
