Only when writing on forums. In real life I try to get my point across, and tend to ramble. Writing like this, I try to be more succinct while still trying to get my point across. Doesn't always work, but hey.

In person (amongst friends), I tend to be very loose and flowing. I also tend to use opportunistic humor, as well as using non-cynical sarcasm.
When I'm around total strangers, I keep to myself, showing little emotion.

On the internet, I've been told over and over again that I sound like an emotionless robot (on sites where chivalry and politeness are expected).
Anywhere else on the internet where I can do whatever the hell I want, I tend to act like I'm perpetually high on weed.

Throwing it out there: Use the right form of "they're/there/their" when making fun of someone's grammer.

"Grammar" being spelled wrong intentionally in the above post, to make a point.

In real life, my outer appearance stops me from being this kind of person, which drives me nuts. On the Internet, the ones you talk with gain respect by your intellect or your wits, while in real life, most of the first respect and impression comes from the persons outside, which is a sad fact.
This is true.

Also, on the Internet, it is much easier to come off as intelligent. You can spend hours formulating a post to near-perfection, looking up every fact and making sure your argument is flawless. This is an impractical process in real life.

Only in my rhetoric, because I have more time to think about and correct what I'm saying. Otherwise I'm a strong believer of being yourself no matter what the situation.

I think i'm pretty much the same, except that I sound more intelligent on the internet because of having more time to think of wordy responses to things. But I think everyone is like that.

I refuse to become an asshole on the internet just because of having the opporunity to do so without consequences. Thats just very childish in my opinion...

Besides more outspoken, no. I am more quiet and cold in person, but just being able to speak your mind doesn't really qualify as change to me.

Apart from being slightly more outgoing on the internet, nope. Pretty much the same.

I look different, but I don't think I am. I just make more sense on the internet. I manage to explain my p.o.v's and opinions a lot better on the internet. I prefer written language over spoken language anyway, I actually bárely really speak people irl. I guess that almost...75% of all my contact with other people goes via the internet. Quite scary now I think of it.
But when I think about it, I think I am a lot more...balanced in my opinions on the internet. That though, is my real me, I'm not different on the internet, I'm different irl.

Since there's no "a bit" option, I'm gonna say "yes".
In real life, I'm mostly the way I write here, but I tend to be a lot quieter.
I don't really talk to people I don't already know somehow.

I'm a lot better behaved on the internet, then I am in real life. When people bring up a point on the internet I don't agree with, I engage in intelligent, and thoughtful debate. And if I find myself getting too angry, I just walk away from it.

IRL, I am much more likely to start hurling personal abuse.

Also, on the internet, I'm less obscene and offensive. I have to remember to rein it in!

Nope, it's not like I'm an angel IRL and then I'm Beelzebub on the internet. I do "speak" a little bit better online though, probably since I can check what I'm saying for spelling errors and stuff like that before I say it...

Changing your personality completely is too hard. If I had to stop before I said something to ask "Ok, but what would the internet Evilbunny think?" all of my posts would take way too long and I would probably get confused at some point and say something out of character. It's just easier being myself.
