The teenage angst and general whininess coming from this thread is depressing me.

Seriously guys, learn to appreciate what you have. You might not always have it.

I think the point is that some people don't actually have anything which is why they are lonely (like the people who've moved away from family/friends, lost fiances, etc.

No, I mean like... they're typing, so they have a computer, right? They're on a gaming forum, and so they must have at least played one game. There are people around the world that have more to worry about than loneliness.
