Poll: Are you angry at the escapist for canceling Unforgotten realms?

Who knows, maybe one day Yahtzee will lose his luster and will be dropped for a newer, funnier show.

The day that happens would be the day The Escapist will lose about 75% (if not all) of it's users. I'm pretty sure the reason a good number of people are here is because of ZP.

I don't think we'll lose many users over ZP. We'll lose some occasional members, sure, but I doubt we'll see any less activity here on the forums.

Yahtzee sort of draws new users in, and the forums keep 'em coming back for more.

As long as they keep, Unskippable, Doomsday Arcade and ZP (Yeah, like they'd ever ditch ZP)
Then I'm fairly certain I can live without seeing Unforgotten Realms for a while I liked it, don't get me wrong, but the majority of it's appeal was drained from the constant filler.

And like most people have already said, the Haryy Potter plot, was completely overdone towards the end, I mean I like HP bashing, but that was taking it on for long.

I think 50 episodes is enough and at this point, while I really found it funny, needs to end. But why does the show need The Escapist to contiune? Doesn't that mean the creator is only in it for the money?

Agreed. I can see the attempts made at, and hell I can't sing or play an instrument worth my life so I won't throw stones, I just don't find it entertaining at all. UR made me laugh once or twice the few episodes I watched, so that's why I am agreeing.

While this may be true, remember the escapist is a business. It's not forum posts don't keep the doors open, it's the ad dollars. Less users means less ads clicked and less merch bought means less shows, articles, and eventually closing of the site.

Actually yeah I forgot about that, I'll agree with you on both there.

Actually, UF was pretty good. But lately I was like "...oh, a new episode... maybe I'll watch tomorrow... or on Saturday, if I'm bored...". I still like Unskippable and ZP a lot more. And Stolen Pixels of course.

Eh, I found it okay. After seeing the originals, they had a lot of better humour. And anyway, it wasn't cancelled by the Escapist, the creator cancelled it, so... yeah.

Seriously, its a paid job if you have a shcedule and level of professionalism to adheer to fucking adheer to it. Anywho: You are certainly correct. While ZP does have a huge influence/popularity on here, I still don't think losing him will cause the entire world to spiral into a sweat-induced panic. Sure, some coin will most likely be lost, but I doubt the populace will decrease all that much.

And it's not like the Escapist will be no more afterwards. I highly doubt they would put all of their eggs in one basket like that.

And let's not forget ZP has a huge fanbase, so it probably won't stop for quite some time. We have nothing to worry about.
