I just watched the first three minutes of Episode 1 after reading this thread. Yeah, not my kind of humour, so I'm not really bothered.

Would corperations just help their fellow man a bit more and fund the more loved or well rated projects rather than doing a Big Brother style vote off and saying: "well we evict the shows that didn't appear in our ratings top 20".

I was a fan of the show even before it was on the Escapist, and I have to say that the show stopped being funny after about episode 5. I am still a huge fan of the original Unforgotten Realms (back when he couldn't animate for shit) and in my opinion, his original 8 episode series of Unforgotten Realms was great, and this one paled in comparrison.
its good it was canceled now rather than a couple of more months. it would have become like arby n the chief.
I wasn't aware the show was cancelled, I'd love to know where that information came from, because the shows creator says nothing of the kind on his new website.
That said, I enjoyed the show, I felt some of the episodes were a bit boring, and WAY too slow to actually accomplish anything, and the first and 2nd season were the best hands down before the show started to get kinda, bland.
BUT, Its certainly better than Apoc Lane, I couldn't even make it through the first episode of that crap.

The Escapist didn't cancel it, the creator put it on hiatus. It says so on the official website.
I was totally into UR for the first few episodes, but then it seemed to get stale after a while. I'm not angry that it got canceled, just disappointed that the series reached this point. Have either The Escapist, or Unforgotten Realms given any reasons why this happened?
