It had it's moments, but it took ages to get anywhere. Just like the real Realms.

I do wish it had a proper conclusion, but then it could have had a decent conclusion ages ago.

That was a joke. I have a bigger and harder job then I did two weeks ago trying to keep this internet video business ship a float. Unforgotten Realms episodes will be on hold until we reach a certain amount of DVDs sells to let me finish this season and the next!

Straight from his site...if the escapist did in fact outright drop him I applaud them, as a person who followed UR from the beginning (the original version) I liked Rob less and less, every time I hear anything from him he seems like a self serving egotistical person who would trow anyone under the bus to benefit himself or for his own fancy. The show was great, but then it went down hill and after a point just seemed to be something he banged out when he wasn't on whatever MMO he was playing (seriously look at the side characters and then look at the guy who sold them mounts in the previous episode, it is beyond sad.)

I couldn't agree more. The only thing is that there's still so much potential in this show. I mean, I loved the classic episodes and I think Rob could do it again. Furthermore, I think it's better if the show moved away from the Escapist. Rob obviously dislikes this site and its people, and moving away might make him be less of a jerk. Perhaps these recent events will trigger something and bring forth another streak of brilliance known as more Unforgotten Realms episodes.

I liked it but slowly lost inerest after a while. It just didn't seemed to be as good s it used to be.

Who knows, maybe one day Yahtzee will lose his luster and will be dropped for a newer, funnier show.

I've been watching UR for ages, first in Newgrounds first season then on the escapist! I'm so sad to see it go, and hope Rpb can continue it, I MUST see how it ends :'(

I haven't watced it recently-I was saving up all teh episodes for one big unforgettable 24 hour marathon, there was going to be cake and everything. So yeah it's a little disappointing, but oh well, I can live without it. As many other have said it hasn't been getting any better recently, even though it was still OK. IMO.

I enjoyed the first two seasons. And even the later episodes were quite funny.
So, I'm a bit sad to see it go down.

I don't know if someone already told you this, but I'm not going to waste my time looking through the whole thread. Do you, in your 'infinite wisdom' now anything about why your favorite show got "cancelled"?

It's because they don't have enough resources and money to continue the show. The Escapist didn't cancel it, the guy who makes UR just doesn't have enough money. You can also help that by buying the DVD, which I am guessing you haven't done, despite your apparent overwhelming love for the videos.

As has already been said, the show started off really good with many memorable lines and quotes. However towards the end of the first series and onwards after that the show kinda lost its edge for me. Being canceled will at least prevent it going further into the lands of stale.

I stopped watching midway through the series, i actually started paying attention and found it to be not funny, almost no story line (a good one, anyway) and overall really. . . boring.

It's been going downhill to be Honest. I found myself watching episodes where barely anything would happen. The plot advanced slowly, and I wasn't laughing. Besides, It's not over, merely suspended. I was a fan before it came to the escapist. I watched Rob moran's stuff for years. Anyway, now that UR is open, another wabsite may pounce on it, Maybe he could become self sufficient (DVD sales and such) Just wave goodbye and keep your eyes open in the future.
