Poll: are you are fat as you would like

I'm a man at about... 20-25% I think. A bit hard to tell, really.
Where I'd prefer to be? Well, I'm kinda happy right where I am. Could probably go down a bit, but that'd require more training and better eating, which I'm too lazy to do...

As for how I like my women: 25-40%. It depends on the lady too, of course. Some look better with more, while others look better with less. But I'm generally in the slightly more side.

I think i'm around 14%. I've been running most of my life. I run at least 50 miles a week, and I LOVE how i look. The runner look suits me.

Edit: i'm 5'5" and about 170 lbs with some huge legs. People notice what I do when they look at me.

As far as women go. I'd love someone about 15-20%, but I'm not opposed to someone curver, because I like boobs. Regardless those cute petit girls I see at the mall never look my way.

Looking at that, about 20%, though I also have scarcely any muscle. I'm quite happy with my weight, which is apparently somewhat underweight, but not enough to even start getting worried.

Male, maybe around 15%? It's hard to tell since they're much more muscular than I am. I'm really skinny, and not really discernibly muscular or fat at all.

Are you happy with it?

Happy enough. It's not what I'd prefer, but it works.

what would you like to be?

I'd prefer to be muscular, or even fat as I find both more attractive body types than skinny, but out of these, based on the pictures, I guess 15%.

what do you think society tells you you should be?

10-12%, though society doesn't care nearly as much about men on this topic as it does about women.

I will say the pictures can be misleading. There are some people who are really underweight, say like 10% body fat or less and they do NOT look like like the person in that picture as they don't have muscle

I'm probably slightly under 25%, based on those photos. I've been dieting and exercising a lot, but I think the last 2 weeks of being incredibly sick and not able to exercise have messed my routine a bit. Luckily I'm FINALLY getting better! I'd like to be at about a 15 or a 10, based on those pics. I'd be very happy if I could get to a 15 within this year.

Nope i have never ever had chocolate abs and during highschool i was really self conscious about it as it was always one of the first things girls would say they liked in a guy.
I actually have an eating disorder related to this.

3.what would you like to be?
Anything that gives me abs, so 15% should do the trick.


4.what do you think society tells you you should be?
10-12%, society tells me guys must not be too big nor too thin, have abs and well defined muscles.

5.which body fat percent of the opposite/same sex are you most attracted to?
Anything between 20 and 30% seems good, so around my body fat weight.

Heh this thread made me realize 2 positive things:
1) Despite being self conscious about my lack of abs, seems im not in that bad of a position, heck i considered myself "fat" for the longest time, and still feel that way, but guess my body isnt that bad.
2)Im attracted to girls around my body fat ratio, due to considering myself as fat i always thought it was hypocritical of me to pursue girls much thinner. It turns out much thinner was just a question of perspective and im just attracted to my female equivalent body ratio wise.

I think I'm at 30% atm, but I'm not sure, it could be closer to 25%.
I've always been rather skinny.
Well, to be honest, I spent the majority of my life underweight and now I am `normal weight` I feel kind of big.
I know I'm not (and I know a bunch of heavier people who would probably wanna strangle me for saying it), but I'm so used to being tiny that being normal sized is weird to me.

1. 25-30.
2. Not really.
3. I dunno, just a bit skinnier.
4. A stick with boobs.
5. 10-15, but nobody's perfect so I'm willing to compromise.

I'm somewhere in the region of 25-30%. Were it not for my fondness for alcoholic beverages and pizza I'd probably be around a stone or two lighter than I am.

No clue, I don't really fit into any of the above pictures because I'm naturally slender. I do have a bit of spare body fat, but I'm also a total of 70 kg and 186 cm tall, so I'm hardly overweight. I suppose I'm somewhere in the 15-20% zone, but with a low overall body mass. I'd like to lose some of the fat and gain muscle mass, but I'm mostly having trouble finding time to for exercise in my schedule...

I'm about in the 20% range, more muscle tone than the guy pictured but a bit more spare tire to compensate. If I quit drinking soda I'd look like the 15% guy in a couple months since I do exercise twice a day. Am I where I'd like to be? not really. Am I comfortable? Quite. The added mass is a bit of a blanket during the winter, so when spring hits I'll likely lose that.
