On the plus side I've already lost 30 pounds in the last 9 months and am steadily (albeit slowly) losing more. In fact I'm trying to get into shape for an annual 5K local charity run held every Fourth of July. When If I make my goal I should have slimmed down enough for me to be proud enough of my improved self that I wouldn't mind it if others wanted to ogle me saw me naked.

Well assuming nobody can see... Kinda. I'm a bit of a mysophobe though, so the idea that um... Fecal matter could potentially end up on surfaces in my house puts me off of doing so. I have no problem sleeping naked or being in my room naked though.

I actively hate the fact that my friends invite me places because that means I have to put on clothes.

I genuinely have to remind myself that I like these people to make up for the feeling of clothes on my body. I hate the feeling of clothes. With a passion. Fiery passion.

Although I won't sit on any outside furniture naked. If I have people over... well, it would skeeve me to know that I'm sitting somewhere where they were naked, so I don't want to do that to others.

I've done the World Naked Bike Ride a couple of times and I've visited a nudist beach occasionally, but I'm not a hardcore nudist or anything.

But for what it's worth, erections are a non-issue for every nudist I've spoken too. No one really cares.

And I wouldn't say someone naked is any more off-putting than someone in a too-tight swimsuit, even if nakedness WAS for the benefit of any on-lookers (which it obviously isn't).

I'd urge everyone to be comfortable with the body they have, and if you want to go naked, why not? I wouldn't let shame stop you.

Sure, I'm comfortable being naked. I'm home alone most days so will rarely wear more than my underwear (and that's just to keep sweat stains and skidmarks off the furniture. )

I don't like gone nude. Occasionally I forget to take a towel to the shower, and I have to go get a new one in my room naked... those are very uncomfortable moments...

I might on very rare (hot) occasions be enticed to take of my shirt, but outside a swimming pool, the beach that's rather unlikely...
