Demo sold me. I admit, I've never really liked the Splinter Cell series, or stealth games really, but I found my self looking forward to this game for a while. It looks like they've finally brought Sam Fisher into the current generation, and I can't wait.

Certainly not for the PC with that ridiculous DRM. But maybe for the Xbox 360, eventually. But it would either be a used game or a new game bought second hand, because I refuse to give Ubisoft money because of that DRM.

I'll probably rent it
it looks great, but I'm not sure about how much I'll get into it
we'll see
and I don't know if any of my friends are interested in its co-op (aka be able to play it well...heck I dunno how good I'll be with the game mechanics, the demo only showed me that I'm pretty clumsy with it haha)

Since I'm a PC gamer and Conviction is by Ubisoft, I will not be getting it. I refuse to give those douchebags a single penny of mine.

I'm definitely going to rent it at the very least. The demo was very intriguing and I'd like to see how they expand on the combat.

I'm getting it primarily for the revamped coop mode. One of my friends and I loved chaos theory's awesome coop mode and have craved for another more stealth based coop game of awesome. It looks MUCH more promising than either of the Army of Two's!

No not likely. With how Ubisoft has been treating people I won't buy anything by them ever again. Not even on consoles.

Get rid of the fucking DRM for the PC, and I will buy it. If they keep the DRM then they lost me, sucks because I was so pumped for that game. But I will not support Ubisoft as they bum-fuck their costumers.
This, but with less swearing.

I've always enjoyed the Splinter Cell series and have played all of them on the PC. However, while Ubisoft continue their stupid DRM experiment, I'm not buying any of their games for PC and while console controls are fine for Assasins Creed 2, I don't like playing 1st or 3rd person shooters with a joypad.

That's why you should do what I do and just buy the Ubisoft game used, or new and second hand, so you get to play the game without having to give Ubisoft a dime.

Yeah I could do that. I did enjoy the Splinter cell games. Though I haven't done much research on this game.

I bought Just Cause 2 and at the same time reserved my copy of Conviction. Got home put in the JC2 disc and my Xbox is broke. Not red ringed just wont read discs and makes a really fun (read: terrifying) grinding noise. So I mailed the box off yesterday and now get to wait the 3 weeks to get it back. Ill still be picking up Conviction when it comes out....just wont be able to play it (or JC 2 for a while )
Similar thing happened to me, except MW2 red ringed my 360.
OT: I preordered the special edition of conviction but my 360 died
