Nope. Live and let live. I'm not huge on religion, so that may be a reason why I'm not, but i dont think God cares to be honest. And if he does, that's just really petty and conceited. Besides, I havea lot of gay/lesbian friends.
No. It's certainly not right morally, but then again so many other things are that there's no reason to hate someone because of their sexual preference any more than you should hate a person who swears. The people who walk around with "God hates fags" signs and constantly quoting the Bible forget that the Bible also says that no sin is worse than any other and that "he who is without sin may cast the first stone." Right from the mouth of Jesus.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention something. The "in your face" over the top gays annoy me, but when you're "in your face" over the top with anything it annoys me. I get just as annoyed when someone goes onto Facebook and "likes" every group that has the word "Jesus" in it or when someone obsesses over a certain book series about vampires and can't go a day without mentioning it.

The whole "gay/transvestite isn't a disorder" line comes purely from three groups of people, those afflicted with the disorder, those who make money from the disorder(psychiatrists/psychologists/plastic surgeons/etc), and those who have bought into the lie. I am far from being a bigot of any kind and I can think as I damn well please anyway. Besides, if you want to get technical, segregating ANY denomination of mankind into any sub-category and labeling it in a negative way is just as bad as not being okay with gays. Gays are the scapegoat that Jews were to pre-Nazi Germany (and homosexuals were thrown into camps too, btw). Loathing the stupidity of the anti-Semite is the same as loathing the stupidity of the anti-homosexual. It's not merely about equal rights or freedom from oppression. I don't normally have a problem with homosexuals. I don't care what people do with their lives...until the shove it in my face. If a dude tried to hit on me, I would punch them. I especially hate the fact, that some gays think that they need special rights and whatnot and go parading the fact that they are gay. That's what annoys me (gayparades). Okay, you're gay, whatever, live with it, no need to go tell everyone. I don't go running around the streets shouting "hey everyone, I'm straight". There's no point to that...
I've always enjoyed pointing out, that if gay people have a parade, then necrophiliacs, pedophiles and other sexual natured people should have their fun as well. Oddly enough, necrophilia is viewed as disgusting by the majority and pedophilia is punishable by law.
I wonder why...It's not like either of those is that much different in it's idea from banging your own gender (a person is attracted to an unconditional relationship). I'm not saying that pedophilia is normal (it really isn't), but from there, it is fairly simple to draw a connection between the others.
So, just to restate my main point, I don't care, as long as it's not shoved in my face.
Vote went for "a little", because I don't mind them enough to go "yes", I don't like them enough to vote "no", I don't believe in the person who created sins and in no way do I believe that gays are FABULOUS.

Okay, I have to admit that I took some liberties with this post, especially the "third" footnote. Obviously I was wrong when I said "it has to be genetic, but what I meant was that at the growing rate of which homosexuals are growing is almost as much as if it actaully were genetic, even though it is not.Dags90 said:

However, I must point out the fact that you haven't really made an argument for the fact that homosexuality is genetic at all. You made a vague argument about triggers that could be used to instigate it, but really, it is so vague that it could be applied to almost every genetic outcome I can think of. Really, you clearly know much more about genetics, so I can't really make a reasonable statement with being a complete dumbass.I was just hoping that you would clarify your statement with some decent fact, even if they are subjective facts (which would make not facts, I guess, but still...)
