As a Christian, if God and Jesus came down to earth there really wouldn't be a need to sacrifice Jesus ( again) for my loved one because he is saving everyone already. That's why he would be coming.

Also; in the case where I would have to sacrifice the Messiah for a loved one, I'm almost certain that my most loved one would rather die than have the world's only hope for redemption slain, since, you know... she's Christian as well.
