Got 'em done when I was 5. Considered getting plugs, but there's no way they would go back to normal if I wanted a good size.

Same reason I'm super hesitant to get a tattoo. I need to be sure I'll like it in 10 years.

Oh, and I'm the second girl. Awesome.

I was worried I was gonna be the only one, dodged that bullet.

I've played with the idea of getting a tattoo too, but I'm scared it's gonna look like some monstrosity by the time I hit 40.

And I'm not a fan of needles, so that always stops me.

Tattoos aren't that bad theirs barley any pain & about the 40 thing just make sure its something you want forever (to all those who worry)

Not sure how to respond to your poll. Your question is in the present and my ears aren't pierced anymore, but have been. The holes have since grown shut.

Yes, twice on each lobe, and one in the upper cartilage. I don't really wear earrings anymore except for special occasions. And once every month or so for a few hours to keep them from shutting completely. Because, I don't know, maybe I'll like to wear earrings again sometime in the future.

But buying ear jewelry has always been a pain. My ears are sensitive to fake metals. I can tell when they are fake or have any fake metals in them, because my ears will swell, get very warm and itchy. Feels like a rash has broken out all over my ears and behind them. Very uncomfortable.
