Better than what the worst of the worst in the US say, but worser than it was back in the day. Simply, a lot of our talent pool ( doctors, Nurses ) gets drained to the US in pursuit of more money. Prenatal and early child care however is absolutely tops, they are always put on the express list with any problems, or so we hear.
Personally, I have never had to wait more than 1 hr to see a doctor when it was a major emergency ( once ) and had to wait about 4 hrs for something that was not life threatening ( twice )
