Both are excellent games, but I'd say wait a while longer on them and just get Bioshock 2. If you absolutely have to get one of those two though I'd suggest Borderlands, it is by far superior to Ass Creed 2 in almost every way.........except story.

This man/woman/child/other speaks the truth. I'd take bioshock over either of those games anyday. Even Bioshock 1 would be better, IMO

Both very good games, but I would most likely choose Borderlands. OK the grinding does start to wear a bit fairly early on, but this is sort of eased if you have access to online multiplayer, since it makes the game so much more fun with 4 people.

I'd say get Borderlands if you have lots of people to play it with, otherwise get Ass. creed 2

If you have someone to play Borderlands with, get that.
Otherwise... according to people that I know who have played the game alone; it's not worth the grind.

Assassin's Creed 2 is great, at least I think it is. I'd go with that.

if you like FPS's take Borderlands, if you like a StoryDriven game, with a plot-twist and incredible graphics (if you have a good TV too) then take Assassin's creed 2.

Did you play Assassin's Creed 1 and enjoy it? Did you want an evolution of the original that goes a little batt-shit crazy toward the end? Do you like spaghetti? - If yes, Assassin's Creed.

Are you tired of shooting terrorists? Do you recognize the phrase "Two men enter. One man leaves?" Have you ever wanted to shoot a chattering midget wearing a hockey mask in the face and yell "booyah!" afterwards? - If yes, Borderlands.
