I didn't know about it either until one of my friends discovered it by accident. The controls don't mention how to do it, so knowing how to do it just comes to trial and error. It's a good demo, it's just not as fun to play it with strangers than it is with friends.teisjm said:The actual game will have single player campaigns, just like it's precedersAssassin Xaero said:Was going to look into it, but noticed it was multiplayer only and passed on it...
I guess i must've missed instructions, I played it on PC, so i dunno which is the light attack or focus button (i'm guessing it's the trigegr buttons on the back of the controller on consoles) Maybe i sould give it mroe than 5 minutes before disregarding it as a crappy demo.Xyphon said:Hold down the focus button and look at an enemy. At a certain range, a semi-transparent circle should appear around your enemy. When you see that, press the light attack button to lunge/pounce at them.teisjm said:I foudn it lacking. teh controlsl (pc) we're unspecified, and i couldn't change shit. I oculdn't seem to find any controlls, so i couldn't pounce people (was alien), dunno if thats even doable in this game like it was in AVP2.
Also, DM is prolly the worst mode to pick for a game like that.
I'll have to finda way to tyr the actual games multiplayer when it comes out before blowing money on it.
I'm looking forward to the actual game though, AVP is a great series.
Bad spawns and lag don't make a game a copy of another. Also squad spawn is designed to avoid bad spawns and making everyone spawn at one place. And I've never seen any spawn locking or lag when I've played it.VioletZer0 said:You're right. It's just fucking Modern Warfare 2. If that idea appeals to you think more power to you. However, just as frustrating and too safe. At least this one is ambitious.
What makes it MW2 is the shitty spawns, the ability to spawn camp lock, overly laggy, regenerating health(fully aware that they weren't the first to do this).
Battlefield may have done a lot of things that MW2 did later, but then BC2 decided to take a lot from the Call of Duty series.
Uh...aren't we going a little off-topic?Kukakkau said:Bad spawns and lag don't make a game a copy of another. Also squad spawn is designed to avoid bad spawns and making everyone spawn at one place. Besides this game was well into the devolping process when MW2 came out so they can't copy that much.
