Raw? Wow. I like mine floppy, but I can't imagine eating it raw...

Uncooked bacon isn't usually raw, but smoked. Mind you, I said usually.

And how can you call yourself a bacon fan, and have a bacon vote without an option to just like bacon?
I love bacon in every one of it's levels of "cooked-ness" I'll eat some of it when I'm cutting it out, I'll eat some of it when it's just gotten warm, I'll eat some of it when it's just starting to get cooked, and the rest when it's properly cooked, which is however I feel it should be cooked at the time it is cooked. Soggy bacon, crunchy bacon, crispy bacon, floppy bacon, uncooked bacon, overcooked bacon, thin strips, thick strips. It's all good.

What is it with people's obsession with bacon?

I mean, I'm a vegetarian and never had it, so I'm really asking, what's so great about it?

It's really just an internet meme at this point. It's nice, but it's not that nice of a food.

Crispy bacon is amazing! You used to be able to buy packets of pre-cooked crispy bacon, and just spend the day eating bacon out of a bag... It was a magical experience. Probably the most horrendously unhealthy thing I've ever done, but still awesome!
