I have been playing Darksiders a lot lately. It's fun but it doesn't offer anything new or spectacular. I haven't played baonetta yet.Really i say pick either one all we are really doing is killing time till god of war 3 anyways.

Darksiders is no where near as good as everyone's making out! I'm approx halfway through and it just doesn't measure up to Bayonetta's OTT experience. DS ticks a lot of box's sure but it just doesn't have the sheer brass that Bayo crams in. Bayo makes it's rival (in this poll anyway) substandard in all departments, there's just too much damn polish on it!
If Darksiders mainlined some crack, followed by a speed chaser, whilst receiving a gob-job from the Goddess of Swallowing, it wouldn't just be better....it'd be Bayonetta!

well... i'd go with both... but i haven't played any demos of Darksiders... So Bayonetta wins this round.
Quite honestly, I hate both.
Darksiders is just another hack-n-slash with poor literary roots (at least Dante does it well).
Bayonetta's just too goddamn frenetic to even comprehend what the fuck's going on. I remember a scenario where I was falling from pieces of rubble to rubble as I plummeted down a cliff, while being forced to battle enemies on each platform. Buttonmashing was my only savior here, as the enemies got so numerous and the camera angles so chaotic I could hardly even see where I was or what I was doing. Not to mention the campy visuals and predictably god-awful dialogue.
