From this thread and a few others, the image I have of most escapist is guys with big beards, shoulderlenght hair and listening to metal.

OT: I dont like beards, like someone else said it makes you look like a hobo.

I've had pretty much every type of facial hair over the years. Currently I'm sadly unable to grow a beard on the left side of my face, so I have to keep clean shaven... it should grow back in a few months... I hope.

Men appreciate beards. Women often don't.
Beards are all about the unseemly part of masculinity. The gross, sweaty, hairy part. Most women don't appreciate that part but who gives a fuck.

They dress up in ridiculous shit and put on overpowering perfume or whatever. I think most of us can agree that we don't particularily like it, but they're doing it for themselves and other women. Thoughts of how men feel about it aren't even fucking involved in the process. That is exactly how beards should be, just in reverse.

Life isn't about attracting the opposite gender.

That said I am far too busy being under twenty to grow anything that isn't dumb and patchy.

Can't grow a proper beard, so it's not an option for me. Not that I don't have facial hair (it actually grows ridiculously quick), it's just ugly when it gets long. So I shave just short enough to still have a slight stubble. Goes well with short hair. (not that anyone ever looks my way)

It really depends on the quality of the beard, some men have the right facial hair colour, skin tone, faceshape and other features that they look good with a beard, goatee or moustache. Others don't. But women certainly don't like scraggly neckbeards.

If its womens opinion I would think that an overwhelming majority of women perfer clean shaven.

I be woman! I prefer stubble to clean shaven (my hubby looks about 12 when he's clean shaven!)

I like scruff. On some men yes beards are very sexy but on others....not so much. Stubble/scruff looks good on just about every guy and I like rubbing my face against it. Also it makes it so much better being roughly kissed by a guy with some facial hair as opposed to none. (from a woman's perspective)

Also, judging from your facebook photo yours is awesome. I know quite a few males on here who look amazing and awesome with them and....nevermind so not going there on open forum *looks away innocently whilst whistling*

mmmmm personally i don't really like em bigger than that. Mostly I just like a bit of stubble. Just enough for me to rub my cheeks against and for it to be scratchy. And add to the intensity of being roughly kissed [sub]and thrown up against the wall[/sub]

I always have sideburns, but I only have a beard in the winter. It's too hot in the summer. But yes, beards are awesome.

My girlfriend has told me that she likes my beard. I just have a chin strap with a goatee. I don't really like the mustache. I tried it for a month, and I just felt odd, so I shaved it off.
