Poll: Best James Bond?

I have been watching a lot of James Bond recently, and I would like to know other peoples opinions on who the best actor who played James Bond is/was, and what their favourite Bond movie is.

EDIT: Mine is Sean Connery and Goldfinger.

I like Pierce, Sean and Daniel Craig. I just hope that Craig's movies get a lot more 'Bondish' then quantum of solace. From Connery, I would have to say 'From Russia With Love' as it made a pretty good game too.

My favorite was Conner of course! But my favorite movie...maybe because it was the or one of the first I saw - Goldeneye. As for the older ones I'm partial to The Man with the Golden Gun.

hmmm, I like 3 at the moment. Sean Connery for his class and performance in From Russia With Love. I like Pierce Brosnan's James Bond because of the use of gadgets, like the Austin Martin Vanish in Die Another Day. I also like Daniel Craigs version with non-stop action. I also perfered Quantom Of Solace over Casino Royale. So I'll pick one when I can decide.

Yeah this is a pretty nice summary, however I'm going to have to correct the mispelling of Aston Martin Vanquish, I'd be a crap fanboy if I didn't.

Brosnan was the bond of my generation, and while some of them were absoloute trash the first few I saw I loved.
Connery was also fantastic, but I was older when I saw them so he isn't as much my hero, although his bond films are the ones I have watched most recently, so he gets a mention (and he brought my beloved DB5 to fame *tear* )

As far as my favorite movie, I really really liked Casino Royale. It was a bond I'd not seen before, and I really appreciated it. Hell I even got a lot from quantom of solace, and most people seem to have hated it.

Well that is why you didn't get a good result, you should have searched using the keywords of what your thread was about. Enough of this, I am leaving this thread now.

Thank God, someone else was already that guy. So I'm not the first to say how fucking sick I am of this thread. Even the first one was pointless, Sean Connery and Daniel Craig are the only ones who will get many votes, and Connery is the only one that should.

Daniel Craig has played the most compelling James Bond for my money. Sean Connery has the distinction of creating the icon of James Bond. Peirce Brosnan, for my money at least, was the most convincing James Bond.

Scotland forever people... Sean Connery is awesomeness Incarnate.

He has the pure sexual magnetism, the really suave, smooth accent and he can pull off the be-suited, sophisticated look really well. He is one of the few actors I'd want to see cloned, just to get even more excellent films from him :-D

I found Sean Connery to be the best Bond without him Bond wouldn't be the iconic figure we have now.

No other actor can pull that off: sauntering into the office tossing his hat onto the hatstand sauvely and saying "Good Morning Miss Moneypenny" or piloting a mini-helicopter called Little Nellie while looking badass.

I feel sorry for Daniel Craig though because I think the redesign of James Bond was a mistake. Making it more gritty and realistic(as it can be) at the expense of entertainment is not the way to go.

If you ask me they should make the new Bond movies like Goldeneye because it's the only great Bond movie Pierce was in and it's modern.
