Connery, then Craig. They seem more threatening on top of being better actors than most (Ok, Connery isn't exactly a "great" actor, but in this role)

Quantum Of Solace was the best Bond movie to date.
*waits for someone to explode*

ok, so...now for what i really think. Connery was the best Bond and since i liked almost every Bond movie, i can't name a favorite.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Brosnan in Connery's films would have ended the universe due to the power surge of awesome.

If Quantum of Solace didn't suck, I'd also be tempted to say Craig.

I searched 'best bond' without quotations and got these three, please try to search next time.

Really, so did I but I didn't find anything. Weird.
Did you click on the search that the picture highlights or did you just search the entire website?
I do know how to use the search forums button, and I often use it. It's quite buggy though I think. I actually searched James Bond and nothing came up. And I went through every thread that came up.
I'm suprised my face didn't pop up hahahahmeeehhhhhh.....(Bad joke on my part).

Anyway, Sean Connery wins.
Lol good one. My vote Sean Connery.

I like Pierce, Sean and Daniel Craig. I just hope that Craig's movies get a lot more 'Bondish' then quantum of solace. From Connery, I would have to say 'From Russia With Love' as it made a pretty good game too.
Allow Craig to evolve. He was good in Royale, then got so far up his own arse for Solace that he recommended a director, Marc Foster, that has never done an action film. The closest he got to action was domestic violence in Monsters Ball. Don't get me wrong I like his films, but Bond is not his forte.

For me it would be Pierce, because Tomorrow Never Dies was the first Bond I ever saw and I also got a signed picture from Michelle Yo. That sealed the deal for me.

hmm, I haven't really seen the other ones so I wouldn't be able to judge the other Bonds and the other Bond movies but I'm much more of a modern movie guy so I'd have to say Daniel Craig and Casino Royale. I would watch the other movies but I'm not really a fan of the "classics" for some reason.

DAniel Craig, Casino Royale. He just seemed the closest to the book version of James Bond. And I still find it funny when people accuse the new movies of ripping off the Bourne movies to capitalize on its success, because the Bourne novels were made to capitalize on the success of the spy genre, in particular the Bond novels. So a movie, based on a book, is accused of capitalizing on the success of another book-turned-movie, when the latter's book was capitalizing on the success of the former book serie.

Dead-close between Connery and Brosnan.

Connery wins!

EDIT: Oh, and Daniel Craig has nothing to do with James Bond as far as I'm concerned.
I remember going "Wow, another Bond-movie! That's awesome!" when Casino Royale was in production, and then they give us this half-baked mediocre action movie, no Bond charm, and with the Bond name plastered all over it. Complete letdown!

And don't even get me started on Quantom of Solace: A Bond movie with a bad guy named Elvis, and the main antagonist wanting to take over 60% of the water in Bolivia.

Excuse me?????

Daniel Craig gets the top spot from me, closely followed by Pierce Brosnan.

Craig because he was playing Bond as someone who could actually get the job done without becoming Rambo like certain previous films had tended towards, while Brosnan gets points just for the tank scene in Goldeneye.
