I think the fat PS3s look the nicest all shinny. It reminds me of Spiderman when he went through his Watchman period.
I love the look of the PS3, it's so sleek and shiny. That get's my vote. Although I do really like the GameCube just because it is exactly what the name says: A cube that plays games.
The Wii, it's a little white (or black) box, simple, unobtrusive and easy on the eye.
Other consoles, especially the other current ones are just a bit too 'look at me'. It's a machine to play videogames on, not a fashion accessory.

I don't care what my console looks like. In my opinion, you don't buy a console to look at it while you're playing a game, and if you do then you're doing it wrong.
I'll stick to quality of gameplay over quality of design for my entire life, and the appearance of a console can't change gameplay (unless it's a handheld).

this probably doesnt count cause its a handheld but i like the slim PSP (the 3000?) and it slips nicely into an inner jacket pocket without making me look like i have a single man boob
See, this is hard to say because each console has revisions.
The 90K PS2s look better than the 75K and under PS2s which look better than the fat PS2s.
The PS3 Slim looks better than the PS3 Fat, mainly because I like function, and lack of finger prints is great.
The 360 Original looks better than the 360 S, again due to lack of finger prints.
The White Wii looks better than the Black Wii - lack of fingerprints.
All the systems with internal power supplies are also great.
The choice is pretty much: White PS2 90K - smooth front, integrated power supply. White PS3 Slim. I'd go for the PS2 simply due to size.

I don't really like the PS3s sharp angles mixed with the main sweeping, curved shape of the body. New games consoles in general are a bit fugly; I'd say the new 360 is the best of a bad bunch.
. That is one sexy lookin peice of hardware. especially in comercials where they use those brand new polished one. Mines a little scratched up on the screen with a few chips knocked out of the sides, still beautiful though.
