I was discussing with my friends today the superiority of some AP science classes over others, and inevitably I asked "If you had basic knowledge in all high school science classes, which AP course would be most useful for your survival in a post-nuclear apocalypse?"

Naturally, I went with Physics, because I would need shelter and a means of transportation, so the ability to have a better knowledge of physics, electricity, etc would vastly improve my standing of survival.

I'd say chemistry, so you could figure out different things to produce heat, and potentially weapons.

All of the above. Except maybe Zoology. The animals are dead.
It could work...if the school taught post-apocalyptic zoology, which probably would be the best science course of all time. If the teacher looked and acted like Moira, however, I'd take it every year.

Oh look! It's this thread again!
Find me a thread that is more or less THIS and I'll close it down. Otherwise, don't be a jerk.
All I'm saying is that I see a "Post-Apocalypse" thread at least 3 times a week, and it's getting ridiculous.

biology, food and water are the most basic of needs and knowing what is poisonous/rotten and what is edible would be paramount when there are no McDonald's.

The best science of surviving the apocalypse is obviously biology.
You learn how to make rancor with chemicals! What's not to like?
Oh wait... that's alchemy.
Sith alchemy to be precises.

But this particular thread is much more specific. Perhaps if you read more than the title and saw the poll or description you'd see what the exact meaning of the thread was.
