Poll: Big Spoon or Little Spoon: which do you prefer

When your heading off to sleep with your special sleeping buddy/partner, do you prefer to be the big spoon or the little spoon? or if you dont really have a preference, which one are you by default should you spoon?

I'm curious because I recently talking about it with some mates, and to my surprise, everyone preffered to be the little spoon, lads and ladies. I was expecting to be more big spooners, but apparently not

Personally when I go to sleep I like to hug the shit out of something, hopefully a lovely lady. I don't mind being the little spoon, but I couldn't go to sleep someone hugging my back, it just feels...off.

I'd imagine being the the little spoon is the more comfortable option, but that's just a guess. I've only had the chance to share a twin-sized bed with someone, so comfort kinda is sacrificed right from the start. Big spoon for me though. The act of having someone in in my arms is much more appealing than the other way around and makes up somewhat for the comfort thing.

I don't like spooning.

After living alone for years I'm uncomfortable sharing a bed. I toss and turn all night, and when I spoon I always end up with a numb arm.

Her--"Nighty, night, sweet heart."

Me---"Sweet dreams, honey." Thinking--'I'm gonna have bed sores before the sun comes up!!!'

Cuddling my boyfriend is nice and being cuddled is also nice. It just works better with me as the little spoon because I'm smaller.

On point, I'm a big spoon person, as I'm tall, and big, it's harder for my girlfriend to cuddle around me.

Big spoon if it's just during the day/not sleeping, but at night I need my arms sprawled infront of me, so I prefer to be little spoon. I turn over every 10 mins or so anyway though so I get lots of practice at both

I know its not what the thread is about, but damn it I already thought up a response so damn it, I'm going to give it. I prefer the little spoon because it makes you feel like either you have a huge bowl, or you have eaten more and are full.

I'm about 6'4" and my girlfriend is considerably shorter so I tend to be the big spoon. Otherwise the experience is more akin to wearing a large backpack than cuddling...

Honestly I don't like sharing my bed with anyone. If I need to stay up all night then sharing a bed is the easiest way. It's impossible for me to get any sleep...

Well, I was all ready to come in and berate you for you lack of knowledge on proper nomenclature for different sizes of spoons and you thrown this one on me.

I'm quite tall, so as a general rule big spoon, it also allows easier access to ladyparts, no need to turn round. That said, if she's feeling frisky it's always nice to get a surprise reach around/fondling so I'm perfectly happy with either.
