This. I'm not a Microsoft hater like many seem to be, but I'm sure as hell not paying an extra $20 just for different colours. Well, not those colours in any case, something that wasn't ugly and I might consider it.

Yeah, same. If they had some form of pattern or design then maybe. Still, the red xboxes and controllers look tacky and christmas themed, so i'm sticking with my sexy black elite ones...

I'd rather just weld face plates together and spray paint them. That controller is ugly to me, and I could make my own coloring for a much cheaper price.

I almost lol'd in the store when I saw the black or green 360 controllers cost 30 dollars MORE, and all they do is change the paint.

Protip: your wasting your money if you pay a cent extra for color. Do you look at the controller while you play? No. Do your friends? No. Do the people your playing against online? No. Does it help you in any way? No.

Quite attractive, and yet it only cost about $30. This is why we have third-party hardware: the original company will take $20 more for pretty colors, while third-party makes it look good, light up, and improves the hardware for $20 less.
