I downloaded the trailer off of Playstation network, looks like a good game, loving the sound of the weapon customization system, going to be over 1000 combinations apparently, being able to customize a pistol to shoot out homing darts, nuclear warheads or even shotgun shells just sounds epic. Don't know how they are going to do the team based game-play though, going to be interested to see it work out.

I'm incredibly excited about the game, what I'm not too excited about is the fact that they haven't released any new info since E3 last year if I'm not mistaken. Kinda makes me doubt that it's going to come out this year. I think it'll either be a Christmas or a Spring title.
But yeah, when it does come out, I'll be one of the "I told you!" guys that no one listens to.
Also, it's 550.000 combinations by now, I think. They added, like, alien weapon parts to the mix.

550.000 weapon combinations...yaay, is it just me or is this kinda redundant?, i mean this will end with everyone spending hours just making their weapon, then if they wanna switch to another sort of weapon they'll spend even more time on it.
I mean having to combine items is great, it makes it much more versatile, but this just seems stupid, there's not a single person that is going to try out that many combinations, and it can create severe balancing issues seeing as a person who has hours to spend on the game will come up with a really great weapon and those who havent got all that much time to spend on video games will come in and pretty much dont have a shot thanks to the balancing issues.
That being said, i think the game might be fun if it werent for the ridicilous amounts of effort one had to put into it.

At the same time, there'll be FAQs online within a week, showing how to make some decent ones easily, and how to make the best stuff, then the rest of the stuff is there for the people interested in the customisation and experimentation sides of the game.

600,00 r more combos, last I checked. Weapon customization is not confirmed yet. The co-op thing is you just have up to 3 friends playing in your game with you. I think it's gonna be drop in/out, don't know for sure. And probably third or fourth quarter.Mosine said:

I was looking forward to it, but the hold on info about it scares me a bit. It has a very high chance at being good, so I'm pretty excited about it. I just wish they had a teaser site or something like that. As for release date, I think it will be out around halloween, christmas at the latest. It seems that they have had alot of time on their hands, and should be about 1/3 finished with the main game.
It may be being built around 4 player co-op, but the single player will be the co-op campaign, just you might be playing with bots or by yourself, IDK about that. It will have a very large sized single player campaign, since that is what it's being built around.Duh said:
