Poll: bomb threat?!?!?

so a few days ago my very close 16 yeqr friend / almost brother of mine did something amazingly stupid.
he made a bomb threat at the local high school. and ended up on the news and in jail.
he clams it was a joke and the note was written in crayon like it was by a 2 year old

out off all of my families friends he was the only one who dose not smoke, drink, and is the only one who was really a genuine good kid.

so escapists my question is, have you ever had a situation like this where the one you least expect to go to jail ends up there?
im going to visit him some time this week what would you say to him?

No, I haven't had anyone I know go to jail. Or even get in trouble.

Well if he doesn't do anything bad it makes MORE sense as to why he did it. It's the quiet ones that don't do anything you have to watch. In HS between my friends they figured I'd be the one to go on a shooting rampage at my school.

I kind of think there is to be some logic applied to the situation. It is always the kids who don't smoke and drink because the kids who do smoke and drink are busy smoking and drinking rather than doing stupid stuff like calling in a bomb threat.

No, but my high school had quite a lot of them my senior year. That year also saw some girl try to hang herself with her coat in the bathroom (rumored to be because her boyfriend broke up with her or something).

We just had a bomb threat yesterday (Monday) and we had to evacuate to the field for an hour and a half while they swept the school. They still don't have any leads. When I saw this topic I actually said "holy shit" out loud because it just seemed too big a coincidence. In any case, no one knows who called this one in, and I have never been witness to that level of stupidity.

wow the most excitement that happened to me at high school is someone torched my locker 4 years back because they thought i stole there girl friend. i wouldn't because she had like 300 pounds on me and me claiming that ended up with me having a broken arm and him in jail.

i think if the school wasn't so hard about students fighting and bullying there would be much less of the school wide threats.

Turned out it was some C4 in a toy car, I'm guessing they stole that idea from the CHERUB series.

Kids are idiots. They think it will make them look cool, or a teacher upset them by not giving them an A. Practically all of them are empty threats, like a person saying they will kill someone that insults their girlfriend.

Ive been in several bomb threats in my life, my High School was right by a huge air force base and we had a few place on our school.

A friend of mine got transferred a few years back because he made a bomb threat. He got caught by showing it to a kid in his locker. The kid told on him.

After a few hours of waiting, it turned out the "bomb" was just a few firecrackers in a lunch box.

he has no scares. i know this because he spends most of his time in shorts and no shirt. he usually caries nothing at all. he is also extremely charismatic. also the note looks like my avatar picture green crayon and all. i know it was a joke that went too far just by the person who did it.
