Poll: Borderlands 2: playing solo

I've found the shared loot system seems to make random matches not particularly fun. Either the people I play with just race and grab every single piece of loot in the area and don't actually play as a team, or they moan continuously over voice-chat about who gets what loot and I end up listening in on some of gaming's most pathetic arguments. I'm yet to play with any reasonable human beings in random co-op.

I'm probably going to do co-op with my brother. We ran through the first one together and had a ton of fun doing it. I wouldn't mind playing online with other people but there's always the threat of douchebags finishing quests you've never done before. When that happens to me personally it takes away from the experience.

 

[Tuesday Night Fever]

Right now I'm playing 50/50.

I'm soloing with an Axton spec'd primarily into Guerrilla to maximize turret up-time and damage output, with additional points in Gunpowder to increase my personal damage output. I'm primarily using sniper rifles and combat rifles.

Meanwhile, I'm playing co-op with a Cataclysm/Motion spec Maya focusing primarily on elemental damage output and control, using submachine guns and sniper rifles.

I'll likely also build a Zer0 at some point focusing on maximizing damage output with shotguns. Not sure if I'll want to play that solo or Co-Op, though.
