Poll: BorderLands Or ODST????

Well, I've never played Borderlands, I've got ODST. Do you like the Halo franchise? If not, it's probably not worth the risk, this one's not to everyone's taste.
I'd rather go for Borderlands because of my detest for Halo. But it would help if you gave us some details that may help us tell you what to get
hey guys ive played ODST and liked it but i haven't played borderlands i love and can play multiplayer ive been excited about borderlands since it came out but it was always out of stock
If you enjoy the Halo series then get ODST, I found that Borderlands was a tad dissapointing, doesn't mean it is bad though, you will have fun with both.
Usually being a fanatical halo fanboy I would say halo, BUT!
The "Firefight" mode (lack of matchmakeing) is the largest let down I have ever had in a game that I had (up to then) fully expected to love.
Borderlands however was awesome (in my opinion whish is always right and should be obeyed even when it flys in the face of reality, physics, your own experiance, and god) and it has had a steady stream of strong DLC to back up a very good game.

there a million generic shooters, out there, i don't care what you say border lands is like a generic shooter with shitty rp system.

You'll get longer out of Borderlands I'll bet. and if you are multi-player centric or have a flatmate and a second pad it's a blast.
Get Borderlands then, it lasts longer than ODST and Bungie really dropped the ball on firefight by not including a matchmaking option for it, whereas Borderlands does have a matchmaking option.ELCTea said:

I didn't like Borderlands, it was swing and miss for me, like it tried to be Fallout 3 with dumb comedy, then again ODST wasn't much better, you need to know other people with ODST to do Fire Fight mode, you could always go get Mass Effect 2 though, can't go wrong with that.

Don't get either cuz dey both suck. Get Barbie's Horse Adventures because that is THE BESTEST GAME EVAR!!!!!11
But seriously, out of those 2 I've only played Borderlands and I like it a lot. Apart from story and side quests it does everything very well, especially combat, and it's even more fun when playing with other people.
