I like how the two top options are so completely apart from eachother, leaving nothing in between. You're either supposed to be a master, or able to make really basic food?

Well, golly gee, I'm between those two.

So Escapists, can you cook?
Personally, I can only cook a few things, I'm generally a disaster in the kitchen. I make an epic roast dinner though.
I can cook pretty well, but nothing can beat my beloved girlfriends cooking, I mean seriously its delicious ^_____^

Yes, I live alone, don't have a lot of money and love good food. So learning to cook real good food was a must for me.

I'll be cocky and vote "Like a master".

I can cook basically anything. I hardly ever use recipes - if I do, it's cause the dish is important enough to not screw up, and at the same time a new dish*.

Honestly - Almost anything you can come up with, and certainly everything eating regularly day-to-day, I can cook.

* New to me. Something I haven't cooked before.

I would say I`m a fairly decent cook. I sometimes use recipes, and then add them to my stable of food options, sometimes I just toss things together that I think would go well. That`s usually for my soups and stir-fry options.

I`m most proud of my roasted garlic soufflé. Took forever for me to get that right, and I still have them fall on occasion. It`s a mix of baking and cooking which is why it`s such a pain.

I can use a Microwave and oven. I used to cook basic stuff, but it just never tasted right.

I used to be just mediocre and could cook like 2 minute noodles, then my mum forces me to start learning to cook other stuff. So now I can cook the best dish of ribs, beans, corn and mashed potatos, just nothing else.

I love to cook! There is something about the feeling you get when you have cooked something fine and then share it with your friends/family. I love that!
