Was always a good swimmer. Parents pretty much tossed me in the pool when I was 3 or 4 and I just got better and better. Not a fan of competitive swimming though and 5 years of life guarding helped.

Bike riding... well I know how but it's been 8 years or so since i've used one so might be a bit awkward if I tried right now.

I can swim, and I haven't tried biking in over 6 years so I can't really say. Back then I could, but I haven't tried so I truly have no say.
You might have forgotten, but your body hasn't. Bike riding is mostly muscle memory. There's a reason people use the phrase "like riding a bicycle" to describe things that are easy to re-pick up. I once went about 10c years between bike riding, and at first you're a bit wobbly because you're afraid your gonna fall, but once you get going, it's like you never stopped.

OT: I can ride a bike, but I can't swim. I just never learned how.

I can both swim and ride a bike. I was born in a small farm that had a lake attached to the land. I think I was around 4 when my grand father decided to toss me into the water and test my survivability. Well, at least that is how my mother tells the story. She was not very fond of her father that day.

And for biking. Well, I ride a bike professionally(in a very un-glamorous way). So I kind of have to be good at it. :)

I can swim, but only terribly. I only started to know how to ride a bike when I was 14, two years ago. I can ride a bike like a god.

I can swim (but probably not very well. It's been a while) but I never learned how to ride a bike. My dad tried to teach me a couple of times I think, but eventually I was just like "LOLNOPE" and stuck with scooters.

Scooters are cooler anyway.
This answer, except replace dad with mom.

Fuck yeah, scooters.

I can do both so that makes me some sort of superhero right? Means I can rescue anyone at land or sea.

I can do both extremely well to be honest. Been learning both since I was old enough to learn to. Sadly I do not own a bike anymore, mine was sold against my will by my mother. I miss it dearly, I used to go out riding daily while listening to music from Sonic. Two years ago I nearly drowned in Sicily, the under current was too strong and it pushed me against some boulders and nearly swept me underneath one, I could feel my legs being pulled in. I got out though. Was close, but I got out.

I took ages to get the hang of swimming, it wasn't until I was about 8 or 9 learning in school.
I had quite extensive lessons in the leisure centre before that, but I just could never get the hang of it. I

have a certificate for swimming from that time before I learned properly during the leisure centres end of season tests, for getting the fantastic distance of 5 meters with buoyancy aid". Meaning I basically jumped in and floated as far as I could go. They didn't even bother to sign the thing it was so crap.

It's now one of my most prized certificates, I am going to frame it up on the wall whenever I finally get round to framing my degrees, and hang it next to them.

I can swim and ride a bike, though to be fair I don't do either often enough. I actually rode a bike after about 10 years earlier this year in a failed attempt at getting more exercise, was a little wobbly at first, but its true what they say.

Taught the basics at school once a week from about age 5. Don't remember learning to ride a bike, but do remember my first bike (black BMX with yellow handles and seat)

I was almost a fish as a kid. By the time high school came around I was on the water polo, diving, and swim teams.

Also grew up in a small town where we pretty much walked or biked everywhere...still do :)

well learning to swim is pretty much mandatory in my school so yeah i learned how to do that.

riding a bike isn't even hard, unless of course the bike in question is to long for you.

I can't swim, but I can ride a bike. Not sure why as I do remember my dad try to teach me how to ride a bike (had my own bike and a helmet with dinosaurs on it). Well whenever I go swimming I never go to the deep it so it's my lost which I don't care.

I learned to ride a bike with my dads help when I was probably like 4 or something. And I learned to swim by myself because my aunt and uncle have a pool that I swam at with my friends all the time.

It's been a while since I last rode a bike, but I can probably still do it. Swimming, on the other hand, I can't do to save my life. Partially because I hate having things in my ears, water and earplugs included. Also because the last time I tried to swim, I nearly drowned and was forced to doggy paddle my way across the pool. Doesn't help that absolutely no one noticed, probably because I wasn't thrashing around like people do when "drowning" in movies. Though, that doesn't excuse why the freaking lifeguard didn't see me. I used to be able to swim, but since the above incident, I refuse to enter any body of water deeper than a bathtub.

I love swimming and biking so I have done both ever since I, if not mastered, gained the ability to do so.
