I learned it pretty fast as a kid, but I still have to look at it for a second.

Captcha: quality time. How fitting, no?

Digital is faster, but I know analog well. Only thing that slows me down is IIII = 4. Stupid carrying an error for tradition...

I was thinking about this the other day because somebody at work actually asked me to read the analogue clock on the wall because she didn't know how. It dawned on me at this point how utterly awful the schools have gotten if the students don't even know how to tell when they're allowed to go home (unless they've changed all the clocks to digital since I was in school)

Yes, the watches I wear are strictly analog don't even have numbers. Some of them only have hash marks for the noon, 3, 6, and 9 positions.

Since most schools, work places and public buildings use traditional clocks, close to everyone should know how to read it.

I can, and rather quickly, but I constantly get the 40 and 45 minutes messed up.

yeah i can tell the time on analog, and in fact prefer it and i don't really know why. Digital is easier to read but i just find analog the best option.

I love my analogue watches, but I usually break them, leading to the necessity for a digital one. The average lifespan of a digital watch for me is around a year, an analogue lasts maybe 6 months, if it's lucky.
