Poll: Can Zero Punctuation write a positive review?

He's supposed to criticize the game for every little thing, that's his job. If he likes a game overall, I call that a positive review. By those standards, the most recent "positive" review would probably be Left 4 Dead. By a higher standard of the definition of "positive", then it would be more like, as mentioned before, Portal, Psychonauts... And I may also say Bioshock because he mantions it in other videos too, calling it good.

Why the hell should he? If you want to read positive reviews buy a gaming mag or check one of the 1000 game related websites that sell their opinion for an ad.

He wrote a great review for Call of Duty 4, and named Portal as perfect. What more do you want? That's two!

I know, I know. If ZP's heart was not a shrived thing filled with sarcasm we just would not like him as much. But the question is still there. Do you think Yahtzee is capable of writing a positive review?

My answer is No. He was nice to Portal and polite to Bio-Shock. In both cases he still found a fault in the game. That is the nature of a critic, I am curious if anyone thinks he would ever find that magical game where he has nothing bad to say.

Am I the only one that tends to agree with him on the sucktasticness of gaming? I mean crap I've been working on a philosophy of gaming in hopes that maybe people will build on it and this constant flux of crap fluttering onto the shelves might calm the hell down.

I especially enjoyed his reviews recently of Tomb Raider and Sonic. I felt like I was listening to my subconscious.

Of course...so did I for the latter. I haven't played SR2 yet...I keep feeling I should so I can try that fabled sky diving naked and landing ass first on a citizen ;D.

Uggh, we talk alot about Yahtzee. The man doesn't care two shits about our opinion, he's never even posted here.

correction he's posted here about 4-5 times. I was curious about if he actually read anything anyone posted so I went through his posts and he has posted a few time on his own thread exclusive from the OP, check it out [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/profiles/posts/Yahtzee%20Croshaw?view=recent]. It takes some digging but he has definitely posted more than just his videos.
