I would be upset but that fact that Harley Quinn's outfit wasn't a one time deal has used up rage quota for the entire franchise. Batman:TAS fan disapproves of your costume change.

Yeah you can get pants like that. This is Catwomen who is supposed to be very sexualised and a lot of the costumes in batman are silly.

Did batman have his abbs molded into his suit or what?
Sadly unlike Catwomen that's not particularly sexy...oh well.
Edit: God I can't type.

Your poll is an auto fail because it doesn't include one option for "There are pants that do that. You are simply ignorant."

Every one of your options is some form of denial or mockery.

Dude, the outfit (and to a certain extent the Catwoman herself) is meant to emphasize det ass and dem tits.

Also, as a male, I can testify to the extreme discomfort of wedgies. HOWEVER women do not need to worry about wedgies nearly as much because they don't have testicles. I doubt Catwoman is concerned about getting a wedgie.

Fine! If we're talking about the whole costume, she is very acrobatic and whatnot, so I assume it's just for easier movement. Though, as for the butt thing, I just assume that either sort of formed there over time or it's simply to make her look extra "smexy" and whatnot.

...again, do not look a gift horse in the mouth.
yupp

this makes me think of miranda.

Ok, off topic, how is that line in the Miranda picture triggered? Does that only happen w/ a man Shep w/ the Earthborn background who's trying to romance her?

Anyway, on topic, it's possible, but the pants have to be made that way.

I haven't played the game just yet but from what I've seen Catwoman definitely has dat ass going on..but to the point, the costume is right in tune with the comics. Insanely tight-fitting clothing for everyone! Except Joker..please God no..

So I bought Arkham City today and while looking at the box art, I noticed that there is something very strange with Catwoman?s pants. They form fit her butt. Pants wouldn?t do that, not even latex or rubber, it would stretch flat across the peeks of the butt cheeks. In order to achieve the image the seat of the pants would have to be made from hand crafted and fitted hard leather, rubber, latex. Further it would probably end up being somewhat bulky.

So why someone who buy and pay for specially handcrafted weggy from hell escapes me. Though I would gladly volunteer to take the measurements.

I guess we can chalk this one to the sexualization of female characters. Not only did the cat suit need to be skin tight, but it must follow ever curve and be a very literal second skin.

P.S. If anyone ever needed a criteria to determine if someone was wearing a costume or merely had on body paint, it strikes me that seeing how it shaped around the butt would be a perfect telling factor. Though I cannot think of a reason you would ever need to make that distinction.
OP, I notice these things about female game character costumes ALL the time. The buttcrack-indentation-under-pants-regardless-of-pants-material thing is nothing new. In fact, it's a staple of female game character design. You'll find an option for it in any standard 3D modelling program, under Model > Mesh > Female Curves and then you adjust the Buttcrack Definition slider. It's real.

The target audience for this kind of design decision rarely pick up on how fundamentally arbitrary the relationship between physics, ladies' clothing, and ladies' body parts are in games. But you have. I am sincerely impressed and glad that at least one straight male in the world can acknowledge these things :)

Hey, don't look a gift horse in the mouth. Trust me, you're better off if you don't.
For those who don't know, you can generally tell the horse's level of health by looking in the animal's mouth.

Okay.

Looking at that, I don't think you could do that without Spandex. Or body paint. I can't think of anything else form-fitting enough (latex and rubber are generally too stiff for that much form-fitting).

So yeah... spandex. Doesn't make for very good armor.
To be fair. Catwoman is a cat burglar. Fighting off tons of thugs isn't really in her job description. Well except in the DC universe where that's a standard trip to the grocery store.

You know, I'm just throwin' this out there but...

This is a game with a guy who half his body is deformed to the extent that a normal person would not be able to survive, another guy who in the previous game was so horribly deformed that going back to his normal size and stature would also be impossible, and then there's bane.

So all of this is totally kosher, but Cat Woman's pants concern you? 0_o

Then again, Gaming companies have been doing this for ages. Anyone remember Vanessa Schneider from the GC title P.N. 03? Same kind of look there....

As demonstrated multiple times in this thread; yeah, it's possible.

So you might want to put a new option in the poll which reflects this.

Also, Is a weggy the same as a wedgie?

It's one of her last dialogue scenes. It does not require you to romance her and is triggered by giving her a renegade response.

Yeah, I've had the hots for Catwomen since I saw Batman returns in theaters (her and Machelle Pfiffer). I don't care if it's possible or not, but thank you for bringing attention to it, I will be thoroughly investigating this matter when I have a chance to pick up the game. =)
