Poll: Changing Avatars

Avatars can be fun way to show off cool pictures, or can be your e-face. Some people seem to change out quite often, and others stick to the same one. The question is simple. How often (on average) do you change your avatar? This excludes changes for different holidays or events provided they're variations on the theme. I ask this as there are a few people on places like the <url=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/groups/view/The-Avatar-Store-New-and-Second-Hand>Avatar Store that are always after a new one and change it out after a week or two.

This is my 3rd Avatar in 2 1/2 years. I had a ZP one for a few months and switched to Rorschach one I made. Since then I've stuck with my bird, and intend to keep it.

How about you?

I know it's been done before, but not for a while and we've got a lot of new members.

I got a simple ninja-monkey as my first avatar. Then I kept improving it and improving it.

I tried out new avatars, but I went back to this one.

And now... perfection.

Once or twice. When I get another good Brawl snapshot or TvC snapshot...I'll change it again.

I found one avatar and have stuck with it. But I haven't really been around for all that long so that could change.

I don't change mine, except at Christmastime, when she gets a festive Santa hat. It's part of my identity and makes me easy to find and recognize.

Plus, Vanessa is just plain badass.

I'm sticking with Marcus. I have no deep connection to him, but I like my avatar to be a fictional person.

I haven't changed my avatar (Except for variants) since I changed to this one last year, about 4000 posts ago.
This is my face now, I can never get rid of it...

If only my avatars animated properly I wouldnt keep changing them.
However I still like my current one on its own. So I will probably keep it for some time.
If anyone can show me a properly animating one I would appreciate it.

I just used my 360 avatar at least for this site. More of a hassle without reason to change the avatar on a forum.

I've changed it a few times. I think I might stick with this one. Or go back to my black and white maid with an Escapist e in the picture.

And I doubt I will ever change it, just feels like this is my face on The Escapist.

I had the S.I.N. logo from Street Fighter 4 for a long time, but now it's this little the HOPE parody I made of Terumi from BlazBlue: Continuum Shift.
I would love to have an animated GIF as an avatar, if I knew how to edit GIFs.

I change mine every now and then, and I'll probably keep doing so 'til I find one that I'm completely happy with.

I do kinda like the one I have now and haven't found a reason to change it yet.

I've changed mine once. It used to be a cubone. I changed to a picture of Lelouch at the weekend.

I thought about changing it a few times, but the unforgiving mechanical glare of the TacMarine has become my e-face on these forums, so I'm keeping it - partly because it looks badass, and mostly because what little identity I have around here would vanish if I changed it.

I don't change often, as I tend to find one I like and stick to it.
I stumbled across some random image though recently, did some (bodged) editing, and now it sits as my desktop and avatar.
I think I've only ever had four avatars in total, as I use the same avatar for everything, providing I remember to update them.
