Poll: Changing Avatars

I change mine once or twice per month. I usually make my own avatars (except for this one, thanks to SharPhoe) so I don't really change them on impulse. I get an idea, make it, then keep for a while because it's special to me. Then I'll get a different idea and change it again.

Probably won't change it. Not because I am really really keen on the Fennec Fox but because it will most likely slip my mind that it is even there most of the time. Photos/images aren't a huge thing for me (indeed I doubt there is a single photo of me taken over the last twenty plus years).
I used to use the Munch painting of "The Scream" because it pretty much sums things up for me, but it got a bit gloomy.

I changed mine to the Vanishing Point movie poster for about a week, but I missed my old one so it went back. I've not got any real attachment to the Ministry of Sound record label outside of liking a bit of old-school trance and I've never been to the club, but after two years I've become attached to the logo.
I must have just been listening to a lot of trance when I set the account up, it could have easily been a Pink Floyd or a Pogues album cover, or the Rammstein logo.

I've really only had this one. I switched once to a picture of myself but that was stupid so I switched back.
I tried to get one of an stop-motion animation video I did of bumblebee transforming into a car (for a class) but I couldn't get it. Shame, it looked cool too.

I hardly ever change my avatars and I've had three so far.
The Allen Walker one from D-Gray Man. I kept that one for about three weeks.
Then I changed to the Bleach Avatar, of Ichigo on a treadmill, which I kept from late september to April 2010.
I'm planning to keep the one I have now for a very long time.

Every couple of months. Partially out of boredom, partially because people keep bloody stealing them. I kept having people take the exact same picture, even ones I had specifically made it seemed.
I liked my 'Legion' from Mass effect 2 avatar, but I assumed people would think it's the reason for my name change and title, which it wasn't supposed to be.
Thanks to the title and name though, I imagine people will be able to recognise me regardless of my avatar now though. Actually, considering the seemingly short average attention span on here, I won't hold my breath.

I chose my name and avatar because I figured they would stand out, or be memorable. Apart from a pretty nice variation(made for me by Sporky)on my original avatar, I haven't changed anything.
Indistinct names(often with numbers in them)or frequent avatar changes, make it quite likely that I will forget who you are...which seems detrimental to community building.
But that might just be me.

I change mine occasionally, usually when I get bored of one. However, I'm quite fond of this one.
