I always get put in a great mood around this time since everyone's so happy.
I just avoid commercials since that side of Christmas makes me want to punch small children.

I just like having school off for a month. Three months solid of engineering classes has my brain thoroughly fried. I need the break. And the free food.

I couldn't care less about the whole gift giving thing though, and I honestly hate Christmas music.

Overly commercialized, and the "call it Holiday because I'm easily offended" people suck.

But I love it nonetheless. What it actually is, not what it's become.

Hooray for Christmas, just a great atmosphere this time of the year.... apart from it being freezing cold, but I'm able to ignore that.

Good food, good drink, spending time with family and friends and celebrating the end of yet another semester. And there's also the Blackadder Christmas Special. Nothing wrong with a few gifts either.

There's only one thing that can ruin Christmas, and that is the Star Wars Holiday Special from '78.

Not to get too personal about it, but I lost my joy over Christmas years ago. Nowadays it's not a big deal for us at all, family-wise. I don't get presents but that isn't thr reason, simply the value of Christmas is lost to me.

Ah, Christmas, the overly commercialised holiday, along with pretty much every other one. Usually get majorly depressed around this time of year. Like the kind of depressed where I can't get up and do anything.

Mixed feelings. I like the challenge of finding just the right gifts for the right people, and receiving gifts is always nice. Hey, who doesn't like stuff, right? The food, being together, all that is what makes it a beautiful day. But the madness leading up to Christmas Day dampens the enjoyment: mothers fighting over the last toy on the shelf, stampedes for sales and killing/hurting people in the process, the endlessly annoying music (that song by Paul McCartney makes me want to punch babies), and the over-commercialization of the whole thing suck away much of my enthusiasm. So, the day itself is nice, but everything else can stuff it.

No middle ground is there?

I don't dislike the idea of giving out presents among the family and being cozy for once a year, but I'm not specifically buzzed up over the whole 'Christmas' theme.

If the Christmas tree gets called a holiday tree one more time, shits going to hit the fan like never before. Its been called a Christmas tree since before I was born, since before you were born. It is most undeniably, the "CHRISTMAS TREE."
