Of course you could make the same argument for armpit hair on girls, but we all know armpit shame was invented by marketers on behalf of shaving razor manufacturers. (And if you didn't know that: yes, I'm serious. They invented B.O. as a common affliction, too.)
This might be slightly off-topic,
but I could not resist replying to you.
I can not agree more with you, it is simply ridiculous the way it permeates society before one can speak out.
Ideally, I would want a girlfriend who had not shaved, applied make-up or shower constantly.
If girls don't shave, they will have little to no hair to speak of to shave in the first place.
If they don't use make-up, their skin will look natural and age naturally, instead of being bombarded with all kinds of chemicals that mess up their skin.
Ironically, the very cream they use to soften their skin actually makes it dry up, and of course, dependent on the cream to to soften it up again.
And one doesn't start to smell until bacteria in the skin eats, metabolizes and excretes the waste that creates the odor.
That process takes at least a week or more to take place.
One of the reason why there are so many allergic people today is because we are too clean.
We take away all the bacteria that a growing child needs to develop a healthy immune system.
Apologies for the long rant.
