Well I guess that is good for you, but I mean I can't possibly stand aiming the whole time with my wrist lifted, it wold hurt after a while, I can't aim precisely. And I don't think it's just because I wasn't good I mean how could you ever steady your aim when aiming with a Wii remote?DrDeath3191 said:Actually, the Wii Remote works quite well in Conduit. I actually prefer the Wii Remote to Dual-Analog now.SantoUno said:Better controls!!!? WTF !? YOu gotta be kidding me, FPS controls for the Wii are a train wreck, you can't possibly think that they feel better than a controller. Hell I even prefer mouse and keyboard to the Wii mote, and I HATE PC controls.
You don't need to have your wrist lifted: just point the remote at the screen. It isn't that hard. Plus, there's a lock-on. Admitedly, this just locks the screen to face an enemy, but it helps immensely.SantoUno said:Well I guess that is good for you, but I mean I can't possibly stand aiming the whole time with my wrist lifted, it wold hurt after a while, I can't aim precisely. Basically I'll prefer analog/mouse aiming over Wiimote aiming anyday because at least your aim is stable on the former 2.
A cult classic is anything in the entertainment medium that a small community of people adore and everyone else thinks is mediocre or bad. I could see it being that (just TC not CoD4) though I don't know if it has a dedicated enough fanbase yet). I don't know how he can think the wii remote is a better control input than a mouse, though. I think he just can't afford a good computer, so he's hoping that if he denies it's superiority hard enough, reality will warp to make it true. As Yahtzee said, That's much more likely than someone addmitting they're wrong. I can't decide though as I have never played The Conduit. I'm betting CoD4 is better though, even if I hate snipers since they kill you in one shot no matter where they hit you and regardless of perks.soren7550 said:When did the Conduit become a cult classic? Last I checked, most found it mediocre at best and it didn't sell well.
I wouldn't call it that. It's moving a genre that's under-utilized on the Wii to the console. Plus, it has more similarities to Perfect Dark than Halo.Phase_9 said:The Conduit would be an example of a third party ripoff. These occur when certain genres, in this case FPS, become wildly popular and every company decides to cash in by making a game that is only superficially different from the original game, in this case Halo.
It could be in opposite world!HardRockSamurai said:In what twisted universe could The Conduit POSSIBLY EVER be better than Call of Duty 4???
