Surely I can't be the only person who does this.

I have both a Wii and a 360 aswell as a PC, and sometimes I use the Wii remote for L4D, Half Life or Crysis, sometimes I use the 360 pad for Grid or Audiosurf.

Using a Wii zapper on the PC kinda makes me feel like that is how the Wii should have been. Not just graphics wise but motion controls wise by having some thought into it like "Hmm, Melee should be me moving the zapper" not, "Hey guys lets make this game pure motion controls and no button pressing"

i use a wireless 360 controller cause i like to hook my laptop to our family 52" lcd tv and play, say for instance, fallout 3. great feeling, and i don't have to spend more money on a console; sure, i miss out on some great games like the ps exclusive mgs series *yawn* but it's not worth 500?, right?

oh and i'm a computer science student with heavy emphasis on 3d graphics design so i do need that 800? laptop, but i can use it to play, can't say that i can do much meshing or texturing on a ps3 =|

I wouldn't use a controller, in fact if I could be bothered I'd connect my keyboard and mouse up to my 360 instead. I mean c'mon why would you want two little twirly sticks and awkward buttons when you can have loads of buttons and full control with the mouse.

I use my game pad for emulator games primarily. There have been the odd time that I have played some PC games with my game pad just to fuck around and see how it is, mainly out of boredom.

I'd only use a controller on the PC for racing or flying games.
Otherwise, Mouse and Keyboard for me!

bizzarly, i'm trying to work out how to connect my wireless controller to my PC (using a charge cable, as windows thinks it's a new hardware device) to play PC bioshock, because i can't get used to the keyboard controls, and i think it would be easier to stick to what i know, regardless of sensitivity

Yup! Have a PS2 controller for all my emulator games and a few others too Res Evil 4 PC edition, and GTA San Andreas for the flying bits.

Mainly use keyboard and mouse for my PC gaming though.

I only ever use my 360 pad for driving, certain 3rd person games ( GTA4, SR2, Prince of persia. ) and playing stuff on the PS2 emulator.

Anything else its keyboard and mouse all the way.

You can actually use the Wiimote on a PC? Didn't know that, sounds pretty interesting though, do you have to plug the receiver into the PC somehow?

360 pad is immense on a pc. So much more control imo.

Plus, you get feedback[vibration] one thing that a keyboard and mouse lacks sadly

I use my Xbox 360 (PC edition) for games that I feel more comfortable with a contoler than with keyboard and mouse. FPS is purely key/mouse though

One of the reasons I play games on the PC is so I can use the keys&mouse. Especially shooters.
That said, if I'm playing a console type game on the pc, then I'll use a controller. I'll even use a controller for a shooter like GTA with autolock.

I generally only use a controller for games that need one:
DMC4
Last Remnant
Braid and other 2D platforming games (such as my NES/SNES/NEO-GEO roms)
