No.

I think even console gamers can still see that using a mouse for an RTS is far better than using a stick.

Wow, you must be a rare breed. I've never seen anyone who'd pick RTS for console over PC.

Personaly, I'd always go for PC. I just can't imagin, playing Age of Empires 3 on console.

Ok... so you like console RTS over PC sounds reasonable.

I, however, prefer the mouse over the controller

This is kinda like how some people prefer console FPS over PC FPS, were PC obviously has a more precision for each, it still comes down to personal preference. On the other hand, the gap in precision between PC and Console FPS games is considerably smaller then the gap between PC and Console RTS games.

No, no, no. A million times no.

I could go on and on about it, but I'll just summarize it in one: hotkeys. Try beating someone at Starcraft while you play on a console and the other guy, of precisely the same skill as you, is on a PC.
For the most part this is true, the PC player should beat the console player. However at the lower end of the skill scale you would not notice that much of a difference between the two players, but if you take two highly skilled players the gap would be fairly large.

No, you are wrong. You prefer RTSes on consoles, but they will always be better on PCs, because of the objectively higher amount of precise control you have at your fingertips.
This.

Also I'm querying reporting you Sir OP, because making this thread was a waste of space and attention. Like knowingly and willingly making a repeat thread, and for that I hit report.

If you think console RTSes are better you haven't learned how to play RTSes. Because you cannot play an RTS even remotely well with a console controller. These are the facts.

"I don't agree with you, but I see how someone could feel that way."

Even though I stated in the other thread, again, play Supreme Commander on PC and you will NEVER AGAIN FEEL THE WAY YOU DO.

Sounds like you have problems with mice for some reason as a thumb stick is a poor way of controlling something like that. Have you tried using a trackball?

I think using a mouse just feels alot more natural and easier to me. I find that joysticks can be far too sensitive or none responsive, even after ive twiddled with the settings for twenty minutes. I don't play PC RTS's much because I have a mac, and not a very good one at that, but my experiences of playing Battle for Middle earth on a pc were very good, as for the console version...Not so good.

I love consoles but RTS games have no place on them, because you can't really make them work well at all. You need more than just a few buttons to be able to get anything done lucidly. If my PC actually worked properly, it would be given exclusive command of all RTS games.

I play all types of games on a console. Just of the fact of i don't upgrade my PC to play games. I'm kinda simple like that lol. I just like to put the game in the console and play it. I don't want to have to upgrade my PC everytime a new game comes out.
