Asking a forum full of nerds with mild to severe social issues what their opinion is on anything sexual is never going to give an actual representation of the norm.

Of course, but this works just as well as anything else. I'm sure not absolutely everyone here is solely a nerd. It works as the easiest possible survey I can make.

I don't know guys. I think its telling that the majority of the teenagers are against it, and the majority of the 'of-age' people are ok with it. Once you pass the magical age-of-majority, sex becomes more open, and you're less likely to limit yourself just because of age differences. Of course, I'm not going to be running off with any 15-year-olds, but I'm totally ok with a weekend with a hot 28-35 year-old.

16, and I don't care for them. I have this thing about older women, even a day older than me, it just feels...weird for some reason, though obviously I could (and do) make exceptions. A 30+ year old.....eh, no. I prefer younger women overall, though.

I'm far more depressed that I'm apparently so old now I've been put into the top age bracket of your poll...

And my mrs is a fair whack older than me - it's not so much that I've got a preference for cougars, though (or that I'd call her one). We just ended up together.

It is noticeable that people would be far more immediately approving if our age gap were t'other way around.

No need to feel depressed, I simply didn't care to add more groups to the poll.

It's a shame that society must judge so. At least it's not too hard to simply ignore people like that.

Urban Dictonary tells me it's women who are up above that age group. I wouldn't consider someone who is, say, 25 a cougar simply for dating someone who is 20.

So yeah, cougars kinda creep me out. Especially because if it were older men pursuing younger girls someone would call the cops. No different for women.

I always try going with someone 2 years within my age, no more. But, ofcourse, I'm still in high school.

That's just leaving out the fact said woman would be driving up to me in a black car and ask me for a good time, I'd run the fuck away. Anyone that would say yes should consider their personal safety, if you find girls riding up to you in a car asking you for a good time a good idea.

Heh, if it was the one in the picture I'd say the same, but I've found the problem there. You're in high school so it's not really the same for you as Cougars are known to go for males in the 18-25 age bracket, rather than the "Oh hey there, what's your name? 7 Years?" age bracket.
