Anyway, yeah I hate him. His jokes (when not stolen from other comedians) are poor, if he didn't say them stupidly and act like a monkey on the stage, nobody would laugh.

Not my favorite comedian, but I don't hate the guy.

I remember when I was in high school and people started to play and quote his routines. They were mildly amusing in a, "Oh, haha, that's kind of random" sort of way. I specifically remember a line going something like, "You know what every guy wants? To be part of a heist." This made me chuckle at it's absurdity. At least, the first time it did. By the umpteenth time, I was just outright sick of it.

There was no real humour there. No biting social commentary, no clever wordplay, no sly pop-culture references. Just random topics laced with profanity and ADHD. I grew sick of it very quickly, and then grew to hate anything that had to do with him.

Someone also knows good comedy when he hears it. I've liked those two long before GTA4 was released...

To me hes one of those people that suffers from their popularity. His talent drops with the increase in popularity, now he is nothing but hype. Sure he has some funny things, what comedian isnt at leat a little funny?

Hit and miss sums it up perfectly.
For the most part, he's just loud and annoying.
Other times, he actually does come up with something amusing.

I assume the Dane Cook experience relies more on actually being there.

To me, it is incomprehensible how anybody with enough evolutionary development to have convoluted brain surfaces finds Dane Cook funny. Whenever Comedy Central is on the same portion of channels on my menu as Sci-Fi is, and I see Dane Cook's name, revulsion builds within my stomach as black tears begin to run from what I believe was once my ability to be entertained by shitty jokes.
