I'm an atheist, a rather extreme one at that. I despise religion. All it stands for too. In an enlightened age of information and technology, where humanity has worked out a fuck load about the solar system, the universe and everything... Do we really need religion anymore? What purpose does it serve? Other than to stir up millennia old feuds that make the rest of the rational world despair for humanity. C'mon, 2 people were beheaded because one dickhead burnt the fucking book of a crackpot religion. The footage shows grown men, fucking grown men chanting their bullshit and striding down the road with murder as their intent.

They probably feel all powerful with a thousand other muslim brothers as they stride down the road towards a UN compound to go and fucking kill a dozen people merely because they are westerners. Sorry, got my facts wrong... 5 were fucking GURKHAS, many of whom are muslim themselves! FUCK ME.

You may think I'm intolerant, but excuse me for standing by my morals as strongly as these "Holy Warriors" do. I can't help but think that the world would be a better place if people didn't spew hatred from books written by people in A DIFFERENT FUCKING ERA!

Tell him to start a blog: "if you really believed this, you'd be telling more than just us dad." Then wait 2 weeks. Then troll him. Troll him something terrible - like even using facts.

Trolls who bring facts to the table are the best/worst.

Introduce him to a muslim.
Ideals can change when confronted. But if your father harbors that much hatred for muslims, then I guess there isn't much you can do. If you disagree or don't care about what he thinks about muslims, then tell him. Honesty is the best policy.

My mother is islamic and so are many of my friends, but I am agnostic myself. We learn to respect each other's ideals (though my mother makes me drink 'holy water' every time I have some upcoming exam or something -_- no big deal though.)
