I prefer a disk for various reasons. It shows that I bought said product. I take excellent care of my disks, so they'll last. If need be, I can sell it, or let someone borrow it.

discs. in CD's you get the little booklet and there is always the chance of it becoming an item of worth. you can't sell on a download

If there's a disc, I want it.
If there's a case, I want it.
I especially want the instruction manual.
What if the instruction manual was available to read digitally?

Do digital instruction manuals have that new game smell? I think not. Although that is better than not having a manual.

Adding to my list of love for physical games.
That new game smell. Ahhhhhhhhhhh, that's the stuff.

While I do like the physical sense of ownership with the disc, the Download option has become much more feasible for me now that I upgraded my internet

What if you were given a pc peripheral that could emit that new game smell every time you bought a new game?

Discs are better! Why? Because you get to hold it in your hand, and if your computer explodes, you don't have to buy the game again to install it!
I mentioned persistent ownership. You just have to download it, not re-purchase it.

Discs hands down. How else am I going to show the world my collection? To me, it's better because you can actually open the case, pull the disc out, hold it in your hands...damn, it's a good feeling.
