Poll: Do chicks dig the dreads?

If you start wearing dreadlocks, you are committing to a "dreadlock subculture".. if you were attractive before the dreadlocks, there will be plenty of chicks in dreadlocks that'll think you're adorable out there. If you like chicks in dreadlocks, then wearing dreadlocks is a good idea.

So, I was considering getting the ole dreadlocks, but I'm worried this will somehow have an impact on my chick picking up skills. I already asked a couple of female friends, and most seem not to bother, but I wanted to direct this question to the Escapist.

Now, this is mainly directed to the members of the fairer sex, but I guess anybody can give me some input on this.
