I don't. Though I was astonished at how much I didn't like Left 4 Dead...and I hate the new DBZ movie.

I voted "yes sometimes" but in my point of view it dosn't only aply to gamers but to humans. We Eat we sleep we love we hate etc...
If don't have somebody to love or be loved from we search for those people, if we don't have somebody to hate we create our own enemys...

I don't search for Hate. Hate searches for me.
Yeah, the things I hate seem to find me.

They come to me. They all come to me. HOW do they find me?

Yes! I hate this thread, I hate the OP, I hate me, I hate all the other posters, I hate everyone else on the forum, I hate all the consoles, PCs and Macs, all the games, Twilight, Buffy, Yahtzee's Hat, everything online and everything else that isn't.

We love to hate, it powers us, it wakes us up in a morning. So come on, turn to the hateful side......all of you.

A little more seriously now; I think it's a simple case of the internet being an ideal place to spew one's hatred for something. It's fast, easy (because even stupids hate things) , anonymous and you can do it in your pants if you wanted to.

You're obviously not going to get away with spraying "Twilight Sucks Scene Kids Balls" all over your local book shop, so the internet seems to be the best way of saying Vampire-romance was never that awesome.

PS: I don't actually hate the trilby, I just don't think I can pull them off :(

Personally, i do this with everything. I am also a fan of the wrestling, but i constantly look for things to annoy me in it too.

The short answer to your question would be; yes, yes they do.

I reckon it's simply because people can't afford every single game they want, so they find faults with the ones they can't afford to make themselves feel better. Another big reason for people hating certain games is that if they feel they are too overrated, and since they want to be different to the norm they'll just hate it because it's too "mainstream". Halo 3 being a perfect example. No I don't think it deserved all the praise it got, but I also don't think it deserves all the hate it gets. It's just a good, fun game. Nothing special...

It's not really much of search these days, with the amount of crap touted as good & the wealth of frankly dumb & wrong opinions on the Internet.

It's like asking "Do Camels search for sand?"

But to answer your question, if I was magically transported to some kind of Utopia where all the things I hate didn't exist, I think I would be happy & content, rather than search for things to hate for the sake of it.

But in reality, the only way to not hate things as much would be to lower my standards, which I'm not prepared to do.
