No. I mean If it's so bad to the point you don't know what you're seeing and doing, than yes, graphics are important. However, that is rarely the case with this current generation of consoles.

Not really, unless graphics is one of its selling points. I play Runes of Magic on my crap computer with everything on super low, and besides still being fun and lag free. Its pretty much the same as with everything maxed IMO.

Graphics are somewhat of a way to see if the developers have put a lot of time, work and effort in a game. I noticed that some of the graphical benchmark games are complimented with great (or at least decent) gameplay. Bad graphics can be a way to see if a game lacks polish before it is released. I'm not saying that you shouldn't buy a game just because it doesn't have graphics that are quite up to par with Crysis or KillZone 2 (I never thought I would compliment that game!) or am I saying to preorder a game just because it promises pretty graphics, I'm just saying that graphics CAN (not always) be a way of spotting a gem before it is released.

I hate people who judge games completely on graphics. Like, some tool I know said that COD was better then TF2 because it was more gritty and 'realistic' when it came to graphics. He has never played TF2, let alone the orange box.

Thief is one of my favorite games of all time.

Graphics do not matter. It's all about the atmosphere.

Graphics matter to the extent of "I don't give a rat's ass about these." I still vote for the A little one because you do need graphics to play the game, but the gameplay/story are still more important to me.
