On the other side of the spectrum, I mean Japan, they fear the sight of vaginas and dicks even if ALL THE BEINGS IN COSMOS knows what they are looking at.
But hey, at least now that a developer released "Lady in Binds" on Steam uncensored, things get better.

The important question is: Did you find your Wolf Girl to?
I think having an uncensored game like Lady in a Bind on steam is a good thing. It shows progression in the media. I'm not interested in the game, but bravo to the community and developer for getting a wide release like that.

I don't know what you are talking about with the Wolf Girl thing. Is that a meme?

The Developers had a lot of work to do to leave it untouched for a Steam release I guess.
The "Wolf Girl with you" is a game which you can use voice command as you asked something more "realistic".
Of course I am joking, but yeah, if you were curious, here is a screenshot:

THIS is a meme btw, don't get scared

I don't mind them in theory but most tend to be very cringey. For every Witcher 2/3 scene there are dozens of hilariously bad scenes like Wolfenstein: TNO or even worse, Heavy Rain.

If you are going to use sex scenes it least put the effort into making somewhat fitting, and for love love all that is holy do not put quick time events in them, looking at you Heavy Rain. And certainly do not shoehorn one in just because you feel you need one when it makes no sense narratively and contradicts character motivations in said narrative and yes Heavy Rain I am still looking at you.

I agree with most of what you said, but there is clearly something in witchers that witches find attractive instinctively, or atleast Triss does. In the book Blood of the Elves Triss avoids one of the witchers (can't remember his name, Co?n, Lambert?), but she senses that, whatever Geralt has that gives her this wonderful feeling, this other witcher has a lot more of it, and Triss doesn't want to ruin this special thing she and Geralt may have.

Actually, yes. In Blood of Elves Triss aknowledges the touch thing when she notices Eskel has it to a greater degree than Geralt. It's not like an instant-death-panties-down-moist-klingon-vulcano touch, but it's definitely there. Jute88 may be right, maybe pheromones wasn't the term used, maybe it was magical in nature. The point remains however, that they have a 24/7 mild aphrodisiac going on, and the results tend to be a lot less awesome than one might think.
Even though I've read Blood and Elves I don't remember that, but I do believe you. I probably just expunged the memory of that detail from my mind because of how absolutely stupid I think it sounds. Sexual pheromones? Magic sexy touch? That really is some bad fan-fic level stuff. Eug. I guess I just prefer to think that's not the case, and since as far as I've encountered and most certainly in the games it's never brought up again, maybe others feel that way as well.

Touching? I thought it was purely exploitative.
Well yeah, I was joking. Even in the game it's a joke. You're not meant to take the 'sex scenes' in Saints Row 4 seriously.

This is really my feeling about all of the Witcher books. There's some cool world building going on with plenty of high brow social discourse that's constantly present, but ever so often it seems like Sapkowski gets a little carried away and just has to throw in some juvenile "cool shit" for some reason.

Incidentally, the same is true for George Martin and a Tale of Ice and Fire. Some of the best world building and intriguing around, but ever so often he seems to just have this urge to describe a woman's breasts (or any kind of meal) in incredible detail. It is especially jarring when every chapter with Dany seems to have a mandatory section of her going topless and the fact that her breasts gets more description then all of Jorah Mormont's physical appearance.

At this point I am pretty convinced it is a problem with fantasy writers in general.

Like everything when it comes to videogames, I believe that everything can be done well. Can.

I don't really see how it can be much different to directing a sex scene in a TV show or a movie, yeeeeeeet, they are almost all TERRIBLE. For every instance of it being done well, there are 10 examples of it being done laughably. Look at Dragon Age: Origins for example, where everybody rolls around the floor in their underwear, doing vaguely sexual poses and faces, or everyone's favourite - Ride to Hell Retribution, where the sex is a reward for beating up their attacker, and then they proceed to do awkaward doggy, FULLY CLOTHED, with hilarious facial animations. Sexy.

I dunno; generally I just prefer the fade to black, because at least that is somewhat tasteful, at least when compared to watching 2 characters awkwardly go at it.
